Art of Skin MD. Coherence and Associates. Children's Burn Foundation. Grossman Burn Centers. Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. Shriners Hospitals Los Angeles. Shriners Hospital — Sacramento. Torrence Memorial Burn Center. Brigham and Women's Hospital Burn Center. University of Michigan — Regional Burn Center. The goal is to increase their self-esteem, decrease their depressive symptoms and heighten their quality of life by creating a better path.

Essentially, the girls are taught to go out and live their lives openly and positively. Participants attend sessions on how to handle stares, teasing and unwanted questions and do goal-setting exercises. They also receive professional instruction for applying corrective cosmetics and experience therapeutic massage and facials that help them connect with and embrace their body, for perhaps the first time.

Angels in Flight offers the girls an on-going virtual support system year round. Through social media platforms, monthly Skype sessions and e-newsletters, girls receive continual reinforcement of learned skills, inspirational messages, helpful tips and a way to maintain friendships within the community.
