Community Amenities. View All Amenities. I am so glad that I moved out. Customer Feedback O. My husband and I are starting our fifth year at the property. Maintenance Juan has been prompt, friendly and efficient. Well except for less expensive rent because this place has pretty substantial annual increases. Jaime S. I love living here! This is the best place! Such a warm welcoming place. Very sweet and responsible management, My husband and I have lived here for about 2 years.
We have our own parking garage, and they have made beautiful changes to the property — we feel like we live in our own little community. Warm and welcoming, : the manager lives on site which is so convenient! We love having her, Jina is our manager right now, with Maria on the weekends, they have never hesitated to make us feel so special.
Jessica R. I tried to work with the manager Jina, but she was unable to help and told me all she could do was « check the computer» occasionally. The rent for these apartments is insanely high considering the lack of amenities and location. Granted, the train is very close, but not much else is.
There is not a lot around the neighborhood and it is noisy. The property is fairly well maintained. Maintenance is also very quick to respond and fix things that are out of place. The office staff is hit or miss. She helped me through some issues moving in and has always been there to help since I moved in.
There have been 4 property managers since I moved in August She did not seem to care that I was moving out either. As a result, noise has gone up on that front, too. My move out bill was extraordinarily high. I will give Jina credit in that she listened to my issues, investigated them and reversed most of the charges.
They will charge you for professional cleaners regardless Parking is impossible. If you have more than one vehicle or like to have friends over, prepare for a walk. Safety was also an issue for me as I had someone try to walk in my front door one night and found out right before I moved out that someone had been sleeping on my porch fairly regularly when I initially moved in.
Nicholas T. Since my last review, a new property manager has joined this community and made an unquantifiable difference here. Jina is personable and friendly as well as extremely helpful. I feel safe with my information in her hands. Other problems in the community have been overcome thanks to here initiative.
Lisa F. I have lived here for 7 years and I love the 1 BR. Love Juan and Maria and we have a new Leasing Manager, Jina, who seems to be very dedicated to making our community even better. I will say there a few bad apples, i.
After 7 years, I would know! Ron R. Once or twice a week I drive by cars that have had windows broken out, and on a few occasions, wheels and tires missing. Candice T. The Metropolitan was awesome, but the Georgetown was my favorite. The Georgetown had the washer and dryer upstairs and this really awesome desk with cabinets above it for storage of household items.
Too many stairs for you? Not for me. This place is a total dream. I was most impressed with the creative use of space and the impressive amount of storage hidden under stairs and tucked in behind laundry spaces. Fitness center and hit tub only. But seriously, I can survive a San Jose summer without a pool, easily. When we first moved in, Legacy was our landlord.
Sometime last year, BRE bought out this apartment complex. Since then, we only prefer to talk to Odis or Leslie. We try to avoid everybody else. We were first living at the lofts on Josefa Street and loved it. We had a minor noise complaint regarding the neighbors upstairs, but was quickly resolved. You rarely hear your neighbors next door but you surely heard your neighbors upstairs.
Our current neighbors upstairs moved in about two months ago and omg, we could hear their loud music rattling our dining room lights, they kept moving their furniture several times during the day and night. Another thing about living on the W San Carlos side was that random people that pass by homeless people, kids, etc. And the dilemma about being on the top floor is, there are no elevators. Parking here is an issue. If you have attached parking to your unit that is great. However, if you live in a 1 bedroom with 2 people or a 3 bedroom with 3 people, your screwed for parking.
They have horrible little parking within the complex. All around outside on the streets you need a city permit. The one street next to the complex is «open to the publc» meaning no parking passes are needed. This goes on for months.
Anytime there are Downtown Festivities people park inside or around the complex. This leaves no parking for yourself, a resident or your guests.
This is a major issue at This apartment home community. Kelly W. My husband and I have been living here for 3 years now and really have no major complaints. Actually, this apartment has been our favorite part about living in San Jose. We are in the loft building, we lucked out and got an upstairs corner unit so we have an extra window in our apartment where other units only have the oversized windows at the back of the apartment that double as doors for the balcony.
We also have a view of the back courtyard, lawn and spa so that also is a plus. On the fourth of July we are able to watch the fireworks right from our balcony. The apartment itself is lovely, huge open windows, lots of light, vertical blinds yes, but whatever, they do the job and if you are really concerned you can put up your own drapery. Black granite top kitchen, nice appliances and laundry in apartment such a luxury! Modern architecture, very simple and to the point.
There is extra storage under the stairs in the form of a little closet and then one space that is open to the rest of the room.
Parking on the street is always available, the only time it becomes a slight problem is when there are Sharks games in the winter and people park on our street for the games because we are so close to the HP Pavilion. The management staff has been great, very friendly, helpful and quick to respond to service requests. They will also call you if you have received a package.
